A charming antique kitchen worktable featuring a solid plank top, two drop leaves, turned legs, and beautifully aged wood with a warm, rustic finish. Designed with practicality in mind, the table expands from a compact footprint into a generous work surface while offering integrated storage beneath.

The front features a shallow divided drawer with a metal pull, a deeper divided wooden drawer with decorative hardware, and a distinctive curved metal-lined compartment below. The combination of functional storage and expandable leaves reflects the resourceful design of early country kitchen furniture.

With its timeworn surface, visible wood grain, and understated silhouette, this piece brings authentic character to a country kitchen, breakfast nook, or collected interior.

Condition

Antique condition with visible scratches, scuffs, staining, finish wear, surface irregularities, and natural gaps between the tabletop boards. Wear and areas of damage are present along the drawer edges and interior compartments.

The two drop leaves have different supporting mechanisms. One retains its original wooden support, while the other features a later-added wrought-iron support bracket. This modification is consistent with a practical repair made during the table's working life.

An issued invoice does not reserve an item — pieces are not considered sold until full payment is received.

Shipping

We do not ship oversized furniture internationally. Please do not order large or heavy items from overseas unless you have arranged your own carrier.

Shipping rates are determined by the shipping companies and are outside of our control.

All items are shipped at the buyer’s risk.

That Old Thing is not responsible for any delays, lost packages, or damages that occur in transit.

If your order is insured, it is the buyer’s responsibility to file a claim directly with the carrier should an issue arise.

Delivery

We do not currently offer in-house delivery services, but we’re happy to recommend trusted third-party carriers who serve the Southern and Central California areas.

All vintage, antique, and furniture sales are final. Due to the nature of these one-of-a-kind pieces, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. Each item is sold as is. We take great care in reviewing every piece and noting any visible wear or damage prior to sale.

If you believe an item was grossly misrepresented, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order. We will review the claim and, if approved, offer a refund or store credit at our discretion.

New Boutique Apparel

New boutique clothing (non-vintage) may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the item is unworn, unwashed, and includes its original tags and receipt.

We encourage customers to ask questions, request additional photos or videos, and confirm measurements before purchasing. Every item at That Old Thing is chosen for its story — small imperfections are part of the authenticity and charm that make our collections special.

Pick Up

Purchased items must be picked up within seven (7) business days of purchase unless otherwise arranged.

Extended storage may be available for an additional fee — please contact us to coordinate.

Bring blankets, padding, and any help you may need for loading.

We do not provide assistance with lifting, loading, or securing items.

Items left beyond 30 days without prior arrangement will be considered abandoned and may be returned to the sales floor.
