Antique Folding Tailor's Measuring Table | Circa 1880–1920

Regular price $475.00

A wonderfully timeworn antique folding worktable, believed to have been used for tailoring, fabric measuring, or general trade work during the late 19th to early 20th century.

Featuring a solid wood plank top with an integrated measuring scale, softly rounded corners, and slender turned legs, this utilitarian piece beautifully reflects the craftsmanship of everyday working furniture.

The tabletop displays a rich, naturally aged patina, with decades of wear, markings, and variations in color that speak to its working history. Beneath the surface, the folding leg construction retains its metal bracing mechanism, allowing the table to fold for storage or transport.

A distinctive addition to a collected country home, whether styled as a small writing desk, display table, or decorative piece in a studio or creative workspace.

Condition

Antique condition with considerable age-related wear, including surface scratches, staining, discoloration, wood splits, and separation between tabletop boards. The table is old and slightly rickety due to the folding nature of its legs and aged construction. Some movement should be expected when in use. Best suited for decorative display or light-duty use rather than heavy daily use. Please review all photographs for condition details.
