Pair of Antique Carved Floral Wooden Window Valances – Circa 1890–1920

Regular price $895.00

An exquisite pair of antique wooden architectural valances featuring deeply carved floral sprays, winding branches, and sculptural botanical detailing.

Each valance is adorned with an elaborate arrangement of blossoms and foliage extending across the front, complemented by gracefully curved end brackets and textured carved backgrounds. The naturalistic ornamentation reflects the romantic decorative traditions of the late Victorian and Edwardian periods, with influences of the Art Nouveau movement.

The rich brown wood finish highlights the depth of the carving, while the aged surfaces lend the pair a beautifully timeworn character.

Originally designed as decorative window treatments, these architectural pieces could also be incorporated above doorways, as wall-mounted decorative elements, or into a thoughtfully collected interior.

Sold as a matching pair.
