Pair of Antique Jacobean Revival Carved Oak Hall Chairs with Heraldic Crest Backs & Leather Seats

Regular price $850.00

An impressive pair of antique Jacobean Revival carved oak hall chairs featuring elaborate openwork backs with heraldic face medallions, crowns, stylized foliage, and barley twist uprights. The carved crest rails are adorned with opposing lions supporting a crown, while the front stretchers continue the carved heraldic motif. The chairs retain their brass casters and have been professionally reupholstered in rich cognac-colored leather, offering a beautiful blend of historic character and everyday functionality.

These highly decorative chairs make exceptional dining host chairs, hall chairs, library seating, or statement accent pieces. Their dramatic carving and architectural presence make them equally suited for traditional English, Tudor, Gothic Revival, and eclectic interiors.

One chair has a small missing carved wood element on the backrest (see photos), which does not affect structural integrity and is difficult to notice when displayed. Both chairs remain sturdy and present beautifully.
