Vintage Framed Barbed Wire Display – 27 Historic Ranch & Fence Wire Samples

Regular price $175.00

An interesting display featuring 27 historic barbed wire samples, each individually mounted and identified by style, inventor, and patent year. The display showcases the evolution of fencing wire from the late 19th century, making it a unique conversation piece for ranch, Western, agricultural, or Americana collections.

The samples include a variety of patented designs from well-known inventors and manufacturers, with handwritten identifications accompanying each piece. Housed in a rustic wood frame, this display offers an educational look at the ingenuity and craftsmanship behind early American fencing technology.

Ideal for a ranch house, cabin, office, museum-inspired space, or collector of Western memorabilia.

Condition

Good vintage condition with notable wear. Three barbed wire samples are missing from the display, leaving visible empty mounting locations. The rustic wood frame has a significant area of missing wood on the left side, along with additional chips, scratches, dents, and finish wear throughout. The remaining wire samples are securely mounted, and the display retains strong visual appeal despite the imperfections. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description.
